Virtuous Woman Campaign Week
THE HUNT: The Most Wanted Woman in the Kingdom
The Virtuous Woman Campaign Week, is an annual campaign that celebrates virtuous women! Our 2010 Campaign was entitled "The Hunt: The Most Wanted Woman in the Kingdom." Throughout the week there are events targeted towards women, including a lounge-type party open to men and women alike. The week, lasting from Feb.21st to Feb. 23rd, is designed to help inspire women to seek and gain a different perspective of virtuosity and purity, reflect and rejoice upon their many wonderful gifts and talents, and give insight and advice on how to become a strong, well-adjusted woman.
Sunday: Call to Chapel
Monday: A Woman's Worth : Dining With the Doves Discussion
[The discussion will be on the role of women in relationships: past and present, male vs. female perceptions, Biblical perspectives, ect.]
Tuesday: Who's That Lady : Fellowship Tea
[The first half of the tea will be a Bible study led by an elegant, experienced woman of virtue. The latter half will be a fellowship time, free for discussion.]
Wednesday: Career vs. Calling : Panel Discussion
[The panel will be composed of Howard alumni and other professional women in professions including health, entertainment, and full time ministry.]
Thursday: The White Room : Virtuousity Lounge
[ There will be featured acts and good music in a laid back, jazz lounge atmosphere. The acts will be composed of all types of creative art, including visual art, dance, playing instruments, spoken word, acting, stepping, and singing. Recording artist Leah Smith will be the featured act at this event. It is designed to showcase God-given talents in an unadulterated, pure atmosphere. It is open to both men and women. ]
Friday: High Maintenance : Perfect Pampering Session
[Cosmetology students will be offering their services in foot treatments, manicures, and eyebrow shaping. Makeup application will be provided. There will also be yoga sessions, and possible massage treatments. There will be giveaways, and a student will be selling hand-made jewelry.]
Saturday: Royalty : Community Service Mentorship
